Point Loma Food Tour

Point Loma Food Tour - Harbor My wife and I recently enjoyed a delightful Food and Culture Tour in Point Loma, near San Diego. The private tour gave us a personalized experience and was led by Blair, a knowledgeable and friendly guide who made the day memorable.

Our journey began at Tunaville Market and Grocery, located at the harbor. The enticing aroma of fresh seafood greeted us as we walked in. Blair introduced us to their famous seafood salads.

Hollywood Land

Disney California Adventure - Frozen Live

At Hollywood Land you can step into the golden age of Hollywood in the 1930s and enjoy the magic of cinema and theater.

Stroll through Hollywood streets, catch a show at the Hyperion Theater, or go on a terrifying ride at the “Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission Breakout!”.

Boston Seaport District

Boston Ma Skyline From Seaport After our visit to Harvard, we decided to see more of Boston and made our way to the Waterfront near the New England Aquarium. While the area is known for its proximity to attractions and ferry terminals, we found it underwhelming—crowded and a bit too commercial for our taste.

Looking for a change of scenery, we crossed the Seaport Boulevard Bridge, which offers lovely views of the harbor. On our walk, we passed the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, a floating museum that brings to life one of the most pivotal events in American history.

Philadelphia History

Philadelphia skyline Wikipedia by Brian W. SchallerPhiladelphia is famous for the historic events that led to the forming of the United States of America. This is where the founding fathers declared independence and later signed the constitution.  Many visitors come here to relive those momentous events and walk in the footsteps of giants.

But Philly is much more than a window on the past. Today’s Philadelphia offers a lot of food, culture and entertainment. A visit to this city is not complete without trying the variety of Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches, visiting a museum or catching a symphonic performance.

Mystere by Cirque Du Soleil

Mystere by Cirque Du SoleilI love Cirque Du Soleil shows and have difficulty deciding which one is the best. Each has a unique story and ambiance, but they all have great performances by skilled acrobats and actors.

My latest experience was at the Mystere show, which plays at TI (rebranded Treasure Island).

This high-energy show is filled with circus acts, dance, elaborate sets, booming music, and slapstick comedy.

The show opened in 1993 and is considered the longest-running Cirque Du Soleil show in Vegas.
