San Diego Dining

San Diego - Full Moon SushiOver the years I frequented many restaurants around the city of San Diego and SD county in general. Here is a compilation of my favorite eateries:

Full Moon

A great place for Sushi lovers with unique Rolls, Sushi and Sashimi along with a full hot-dish menu and bar.

I tried the Full Moon and New Moon rolls. Both were very tasty and filling. I also enjoyed a flight of Sake with a good variety of flavor and texture.

Full Moon is on 5th street in the Gaslamp Quarter.

Paradise Gardens Park

nullThe Disney Resort is practically in my backyard. Throughout the years we learned a lot about Disney’s parks, hotels, shopping, and restaurants. In these pages, we will share our knowledge with you.

Paradise Garden Park takes you back to the days of seaside carnivals with thrill rides, parlor games, and fast food.

This area surrounds a large lake where the “World of Color” show plays.

Oxnard, CA

Oxnard - Channel Islands harborThis beach town's claim to fame is that it is the Gateway to the Channel Islands. But wait a minute, a few miles northwest of Oxnard, Ventura also claims to be the Gateway to the Channel Islands. So confusing!

But no, not really. They both have a lovely harbor with regular service to the Channel Islands, but I think Oxnard's harbor is more fun.

The channel islands harbor has an extensive canal system making it look and feel like Venice, Italy, or Venice, CA. You can even get gondola rides on those canals.
On both sides of those canals, you can find homes with ramps, restaurants, and recreation areas.

Fantasyland at Disneyland

Disneyland - Walt Disney and Sleeping Beauty CastleThe Disney resort is practically in my backyard. My family and I love to spend a whole day or just a few hours at the Disney parks. Throughout the years we learned a lot about the parks and attractions that we like to share with you.

A visit to Disneyland is not complete without a visit to the sleeping beauty castle, a ride on the flying elephant Dumbo or a trip around "it's a small world".

Tip: Do you have small children but you don't want to miss out on the thrilling rides? Use the child swap service. Read more here.

Dig This Las Vegas

null I heard about this place from a friend and at first, I was reluctant to go. Do I really want to go play in the dirt again?

It turned out that I actually do. It was great fun to learn how to operate a huge excavator and proceed to dig a big hole in the ground.

We started with instructions at the office. The staff were very friendly and informative. Once everyone learned the dos and don’ts we headed out to the big dirt field and mounted our excavators. Once we were in, we received additional hands-on instructions through radio headsets.
