Dining around the Disneyland Resort

Disney main gate - Mimi's Cafe - Harbor Blvd You can find great dining options inside the Disney Resort, but they are always crowded and overpriced. You can check out the Disney dining choices Disneyland Dining or California Adventure Dining, but consider going outside for more choices and better prices.

Mimi's Bistro and Bakery

Casual chain restaurant serving French & American favorites in a rustic setting. We usually have breakfast here.

Some of my favorites are Pain Perdu With Mixed Berries, Eggs Benedicts, and Crepes. Meals come with a choice of carbs, including muffins. We usually order muffins to go for later. They also have good choices for lunch and dinner.

Anaheim, California

Disneyland - ready for HalloweenPeople usually flock to Anaheim to visit the Disney Resort,  with amusement parks, shopping, restaurants, and hotels.
But Anaheim has much more to offer like parks, hiking trails, entertainment, ethnic food from around the world, flight simulators, spectator sports, golf, and tennis.

I live in Anaheim and experienced it all. So here is a guide to some of my favorite places in and around Anaheim.

At the end of this page, read a brief history of Anaheim.

Arizona State

Sedona - Oak Canyon - Cathedral RockThe state of Arizona is well-known for one of the Wold Natural Wonder, the Grand Canyon. But fun and adventure spots abound around the State.

Although the southern part is known for its desert climate, there are a lot of green valleys, mountains, and forests - in the North - inviting visitors and residents for some adventure.

Malmö and Lund Travel Guide

Sweden Malmö - Raoul Wallenbergs Park

Looking for the perfect day trip to shake up your Scandinavian itinerary? It takes less than 40 minutes to leap from the bustling streets of Copenhagen into Sweden’s most dynamic coastal city. Your journey begins with a stunning train ride across the iconic Øresund Bridge, an engineering marvel where the tracks seem to slice directly across the strait's open, sparkling blue waters.

In the historic heart of the city, you can step back in time at Lilla Torg, a charming 16th-century cobblestone square packed with vibrant half-timbered houses and bustling outdoor cafes. Just a short distance away, the architectural landscape shifts dramatically at the Turning Torso, a towering residential skyscraper that twists a full 90 degrees to anchor the ultra-modern, eco-friendly Western Harbor district.

To round out the adventure, you can explore Malmö Castle (Malmöhus)—the oldest surviving Renaissance castle in the Nordic region—which sits framed by a historic moat and the lush community gardens of Slottsträdgården.

iFly - Skydiving

iFly Skydiving - Universal City WalkWhen I decided to go skydiving in Hollywood I did not expect to come back with sore muscles. Skydiving turned out to be a real workout and a great thrill.

Well, I didn’t really jump out of a plane. My wife would kill me even if the jump didn't kill me. Instead, I went to iFly at Universal City Walk – adjacent to Universal Studios. This is an indoor skydiving facility in which they use a huge underground propeller fan to simulate the feeling of skydiving.
