Reading Terminal Market Food Tasting Tour

Philadelphia Reading Terminal Market After spending days exploring Philadelphia's historical landmarks, I decided to go on a tour of a culinary landmark, the Reading Terminal Market.

Philadelphia is famous for the historic events that led to the forming of the United States of America. This is where the founding fathers declared independence and later signed the Constitution. Many visitors come here to relive those momentous events and walk in the footsteps of giants.

Waterfalls and Mt Hood Guided Tour

Multnomah Falls The Columbia River Gorge was formed eons ago by catastrophic events. After the ice glaciers started to melt, huge quantities of water were held back by natural ice dams. When the dams broke, torrents of water and boulders came rushing down to carve this beautiful gorge.

But you don’t need to know the history of this natural wonder to enjoy its beauty. The scenic and historic Columbia River Highway will take you from the town of Troutdale, close to Portland, to the town of Dalles 75 miles away, passing by commanding viewpoints and flowing waterfalls.

Pixar Pier

Disney California Adventure - Pixar Pier

The Disney Resort is practically in my backyard. Throughout the years we learned a lot about Disney’s parks, hotels, shopping, and restaurants. In these pages, we will share our knowledge with you.

Pixar Pier is just like any beach town boardwalk with lots of rides, food, and entertainment. You can spend a lot of time and money trying to win at shooting, racing, or other skill games.

Fort Walton Beach

Florida Emerald CoastFort Walton Beach is a small beach town located on the Emerald Coast with beautiful silver sand beaches and emerald waters. It is a major tourist attraction and gets very busy during the summer months.

If you plan to visit during those busy months, you need to make your reservations months ahead of time.

The weather in the Emerald Coast is warm most of the year, with a few rare cold days during winter. The last time it snowed in this area was in 1977.

While talking about Walton Beach, I am including Okaloosa Island, Ocean City, and Niceville because they are all interconnected.

The try-city area is surrounded by several Bayous, the Gulf of Mexico, lakes, creeks, and inland forests.  While staying in Fort Walton Beach, we enjoyed visits to the beach, parks, major attractions like the Gulfarium, hikes in the forest, and great dining experiences.

The path extends over a 3.2-mile out-and-back route, typically requiring around 1 hour and 45 minutes to traverse. Our journey spanned three hours as we frequently paused to soak in the breathtaking vistas.

Here's a detailed guide to help you navigate and enjoy the Etiwanda Falls Trail, complete with hiker tips and interesting facts.
